Abandoned and unguarded park

Parque abandonado y sin vigilancia

Lleno de perros sueltos y las correspondientes deposiciones. Trapicheo de drogas a ultima hora. No hay vigilancia. Vergonzoso estado de abandono. Zarzas y escombreras por todas partes. Arboles desmochados y enfermos. Es más un aparcamiento al aire libre que un parque. Hace años que no parece que lo cuiden.

Dans un endroit sombre de la montagne...

Dans un endroit sombre de la montagne se trouvent les "Cygnes", des sculptures de pierre au beau milieu d'un étang à canard. C'est l'oeuvre du célèbre sculpteur Camilo Nogueira et c'est l'une de ses dernières oeuvres, datant de 1972. Son travail dans l'ensemble était destiné à l'embellissement du Mont Castro. On trouve également d'autres de ses sculptures dans les jardins de la ville. Certaines sont devenues très populaires comme celle des enfants sur la promenade de Alfonso.
In the dark of the mountain are the "Swan", stone sculptures in the middle of a duck pond. It is the work of the famous sculptor Camilo Nogueira and this is one of his last works, dating from 1972. His work throughout was intended to beautify the Mount Castro. There are also many of his sculptures in the gardens of the city. Some have become very popular as the children on the walk Alfonso.
