N'Zeto
N'Zeto is a beautiful fishing village that is located in northern Angola, near the town of Soyo. The people in the village are poor. The children generally run naked, and most people are involved with the fishing industry. Although it is a humble fishing village, you can still see the major damage that happened after its civil war of 1975. Most of the people are Christian and it shows in the customs, which are not as rigid as in other African countries. The people are very friendly and are happy to have a conversation with you. The village itself is very small, the houses are low and the streets are unpaved.
Everyone lives their life on the streets. Like the rest of Africa, they leave early in the morning, and basically come home just to sleep. While most men are engaged in fishing, women often engage in conduct small land field work plus they often have families, so the town has tons of women dressed in impressive colors as they either pick fruit or do types of other irrigated farming. As in most other African countries, the pace of life appears to be slower with no rush at all and you generally feel calm.
