A city that hosted artists, intellectuals and craftsman in its heyday

Nuremberg is a city in Bavaria that has a big historical content. In the 13th century it was a trade and craft center. In the 15th and 16th centuries it had its heyday hosting a number of artists, intellectuals and craftsmen, also a major publishing center. Between the year1945 and the year 1949 it was the seat of the trials of the Nazi leaders accused of war crimes. Today it is popular for its gingerbread and sausage. The city, definitely worth a visit. Give a constant encounter with history which is reflected in its quaint streets with typical buildings, walls and castles. Among the attractions in the Old City include Frauentor, one of the gates of the city wall, the Rathaus (town hall), the fourteenth century, Kaiserburg area where they raised three castles and Albrecht-Dürer-Haus, home of artist Alberto Duero.
