Interesting buildings
When you are traveling through Sardinia by car, it is inevitable that you see scattered various interesting buildings around the landscape. The Nuraghes are architectural structures cut into cone shaped buildings and built during the Nuraghica civilization by the original inhabitants of the island, before the Romans arrived. Nobody knows what their purpose was (maybe defense towers? Signals? Stores? Temples?). The fact is that there are some very well preserved buildings means you can visit freely. It is worth a stop.
