Impressive
This Nuraghe tower is from 1005 B.C, one of the most famous of the Sardegna. Its excavation began in 1933 and ended six years ago with the discovery of the sacred well. This tower is not defensive but a multi-purpose center and was used for rooms and storage. According to studies it took at least 25 years to build, a lifetime for a person of that time. This Nuraghe preserves the only corridor between towers, with a length of 23 meters long. The Nuraghe people were very advanced in engineering techniques and architecture. Its inhabitants that could not read or write were able to create a system of trenches and pits to drain potential flooding.
