Village that is experience urban pressure due to tourism
The village of Argelès-sur-Mer has become a great tourist place, especially in the center up to the beach (Argelès-Plage). The population of the inside, formerly walled, has suffered many urban pressure changes but is still has a relatively intact historic core. This church, is from the 14th century Gothic South, much less graceful than the North, as they are used buttresses. The point is austere, especially on the sides, with an air of military stronghold. The most striking is its bell tower, also sober. The church is dedicated to the Virgin Mary for Our Lady dels Prats, of which there is a sculpture
