Magnificent coffee hotel
Anne and Phillip Woodward, are the second generation of farmers that can be found in an area that did not begin to develop until the 40s of last century. Phillip, like his parents and now her daughter (global recordwoman), had worked for many years shearing sheep, and as a result he could, with his wife Anne, purchase acres of an inhabited paradise. Located in the valley of Waikaretu, the Woodward are the owners and managers of Nikau coffee (March 15, 2010 at its second birthday), a magnificent coffee-hostel which looks like an oasis in the middle of the vast region. They have rooms for six people in total with a double and 4 bunk beds, where the prices range between 30 and 50 dollars per person.
In one of the cafés you can taste the excellent and simple cuisine of Anne, which is done using produce from her garden of the neighborhood. In some of them from meats offered 'https://www.pinnaclelamb.com') or olive oil (Whangape grove). There is no public transport to be able to get to the region, so it is essential The Woodward live a few meters, so the hostel cafe is open every day of the year. It is advisable to book in advance, and keep in mind that you must pay in cash. If one has not thought to bring cash, this is not a problem. In New Zealand the budget honesty is a value in all people, so you can pay days later at any bank doing a transfer, or leaving the money in the house of one of the friends of the Woodward in any other city or town .
