October is great weather for traveling: between 14 and 20 degrees Celsius, one day of rain, but it was overall good. Buy the NYPass card that includes sightseeing tours. We bought it for three days, and profited, saving nearly $200 per person. We didn't miss anything we wanted. We also bought the metro card for 7 days, also worth it, because we made 12 trips by subway in one day.
New York City is a place that can overwhelm you if you're not used to so much activity at one time. There is so much to do there so you will never be bored, but it can be a bit expensive but SOO worth it. The streets are very long so wear comfortable shoes. NYC is usually very crowded and I would recommend leaving your car and taking the train or carpool as parking can be very pricey and hard to find. I would always recommend a night out in the city, you will never be disappointed.
This picture bring back a lot of memories to me. The person I was with when I took this picture is a very special person to me, who isn't in my life anymore. Maybe that's why I really love this picture. - Taken on top of the ESB - For the records, New York is one of my favorite city. Personal note: For photographers or artists, I would say Brooklyn, NY is a very inspiring place. You have to walk in it's streets, eat at it's restaurants, live the experience for once in your life. And if you have the chance to do so, move there.

This is a comfortable and beautiful city with friendly people. I would live in this city in a heartbeat. The Big Apple is the city of my dreams. It is very large, but it's still easy to get around in. Life is hectic, but the people here make it seem less so. I love it.
What else can you ask for? 4 girl friends, plenty of shops, people from all around the world, greasy food, lighted streets, snowy parks, sun, freedom. New York is defo one of the best destinations I've been with friends. Although if you want to enjoy you'll need to save money before you go!
