It was built by Nesuhaga Vucijakovic, born in Ljubuski in 1528-1529. The mosque was expanded with an Islamic primary school and, in 1889, five stores and a cemetery. During the communist regime, it was used mainly as a warehouse, and when the war of the 1990's ended, the cemetery had to be expanded, and filled up with white headstones. This mosque is located right at the beginning of the steps of the Bajatova, in a slightly elevated position above the pavement.
