A magical landscape

Neist Point is the westernmost point of Scotland, located at the end of the D884. For me this is THE place to see in Scotland, with the kind of magical, unforgettable landscape that takes your breath away. It's a natural area between the sea and cliff, with powerful waves unleashed by the wind. And in the midst of this impressive landscape you'll find sheep by the hundreds ... seeming to be more bothered by the presence of tourists than by the incredibly strong rain and wind. It is also here that Lars Von Trier shot the film "Breaking the Waves"

Nest Point

Nest Point is the most western point of Scotland. It is a remote place I got lost in after arriving with the car for more than 1 hour by a road that was filled with sheep. The remoteness is what makes it really lovely. The mountain, huge cliffs, a lighthouse and one of the best evenings of my life, is what I can remember of it.
