Navajo Point
Navajo Point is one of the highest vantage points to enjoy views of the Grand Canyon and the Colorado River, only surpassed in height by the watchtower at the nearby link: Desert View. As here: Lipan Point, you can see it is called "Grand Canyon Supergroup", a formation of sedimentary rocks in other parts of the canyon which have been completely eroded.
They are visible above the river to the other side of the canyon and are composed of long, thin brown lines, gray and black layered with an inclination angle of about 20 degrees. Another interesting place, besides those already mentioned, is the: Moran Point , about 10 miles west on the same road.
