A relaxing place
We stayed in this hotel in early June. I had read many reviews of this hotel, both good and bad. To us, the quality : price ratio seemed very good. It's true that we can't compare it with luxury hotels, but it's much cheaper. The Cabeza de Toro beach is beautiful and very quiet, and the staff are very friendly and welcoming, if a little slow (like all Dominicans - but you can understand why, as life here is very relaxed and stress free). The pool is not very big, but I went 3-4 times and it was just fine. Great entertainment service, with some decent shows. The room is not huge - this isn't a 5-star hotel - but we didn't spend much time in there.
With so much sunshine, who wants to be stuck indoors? And of course, we appreciated the terrace and the king-size bed. The food is good - breakfast and lunch buffet, and dinners in specialty restaurants. A relaxing place with a great atmosphere. We really enjoyed it.
