Worth a visit
The National Museum is located in the centre of Oslo, close to the university and the royal palace. In Oslo nothing is too far, but there's also a metro stop close by if you don't want to walk. This museum holds the most famous version of Edvard Munch's Scream, and works of other artists. Go on Sunday, as it's free. I think it's closed on Mondays. You can take pictures inside, except in the Munch room.
