Musical Show in Khiva
Khiva is a museum city, and very few people live there .. I mean the Old-Khiva, of course, is still guarded by mighty walls of adobe, hosting lots of madrasas, palaces, and karavanserais. Even so, there is not much going on in the streets at night and nothing during the day, and among other offerings is the Tosh-Khovli Palace. The vast courtyard, a group of folklore Bala Bakshi, a nomadic tribe Uzbek strives to make several passes of music and dance. A priori, the idea sounds great ... ugh, something for tourists, half an hour of "show", what a drag. But in the end we decided that it was pretty fun, and cheap too.
