Museum of the Old Ways

The Museo delle antiche vie (Padua) is in the former monastery of San Salvaro, dating back from 1000, up until the order of Augustinian monks Camaldolesi from 1408 until 1690, when Pope Alexander VIII abolished it. This is the country's important historical document center that pays particular attention to the designs of the old roads in the area. In the transport room there are tools used by our ancestors to move goods and people, both by land and water: wagons, carts, trucks, river boats and harnesses for animals.
