Museum of Mountain Troops

The Musée des troupes de montagne (situated in the French city of Grenoble) is about the tradition of mountain troops and was opened on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the creation of the troops alpinas (the Alpine Troops). The permanent collection includes the story of the troops of the Alps documents, maps, weapons and models illustrating the most important and famous battles. There is also a library and documentation center. Musée des Troupes de Montagne, is a thematic museum which is situated in the area of ​​Grenoble. There is a permanent collection on display that includes the military history of the Alps.
