One thing you should not miss is Jazz at the Museum of Contemporary Art. Free, live jazz bands perform outside the museum on the last Friday of every month at 8 pm. To make this a great evening, just bring a bottle of wine, some snacks and either chairs or a blanket. You'll remember this event for a long time; it's fun, laid back and just awesome.
Plus on jazz night, the museum is free and open late. You can wander and enjoy the exhibits - they change frequently so catch something new each time. I just love this place, great to take friends, family or a date.
