The Dupuy d'Angeac palace, located in the public park since 1925, has an interesting collection of local objects traditional to Cognac. It is a museum for lovers of classical art, with all expressions of art that you can imagine. There is a section of fine arts and decorative arts including paintings, sculptures, furniture and other objects, both French and foreign. It houses a very large exhibition of paintings by artists from northern France, Belgium and the Netherlands from the sixteenth and twentieth centuries. In the section devoted to the arts and traditions of the region, you can see how they lived in the nineteenth century thanks to the reconstruction of the interior of a typical house in the area.
