Arts and crafts museum
The Museum of Applied Art (Museum für Angewandte Kunst) is one of the largest museums of arts and crafts in Germany. The outstanding reputation of the Bank of the Museums of Frankfurt has been crucial to the American architect Richard Meier and has given rise to a landscape itself at the edge of Meno. The three cubic blocks of museum buildings blend into the large park with the historic surroundings of Villa Metzler of 1803. It's open and inviting and the museum presents its collection covering 6,000 years and various cultures. The permanent exhibition "European Craft" shows the evolution of time from Romanesque to current design and the central point "Digital Craft" with applied digital art.
