Naïve art
The Old Castle Museum of Laval from 1967 is a museum devoted to Naïve art. Laval is the home town of the Rousseau custom, and was created thanks to donations from Jules Lefranc and others who wanted to participate in this important exhibition. The museum has permanent exhibitions and changing ones which can give you different experiences and reasons to continue to visit. There is always something new to see and learn. There is a combination of mixed collections paintings and sculptures of the nineteenth century, as well as decorative archaeological and ethnographic arts of the Creole Caribbean character.
