The Casa Museo Pizarro is the family home of Gonzalo Pizarro “El Lardo,” father of the first conquistador of Peru. It has been renovated and converted into a charming museum which sheds light on Pizarro’s early life. It has a ground floor which recreates the life of a Spanish hidalgo complete with original artworks and an upper floor which focuses more on Pizarro as a person.
