Displays ancient and modern instruments for the preparation of tea
The National Italian Tea Museum can be found in Catania. The museum displays ancient and modern instruments for the preparation of tea leaves, tea pots, tools, samples, clothing and other objects. They are organized into sections according to the country of origin. Every three months a photo exhibition dedicated to tea plantations is set up. In the ceremonial hall there is a collection of teapots of Yixing City (China), and the faithful represntation of a tatami room. There is a garden of experimental tea plants and medicinal plants, as well.
