Musée de la Lavande

The Lavender Museum is next to the town of Vallon Pont d'Arc, in the gorges of Ardeche. It is an interesting place to learn about this plant. They take you on a journey explaining to you where it grows, and how the southern French Lavender is different. There are two types of lavender, one has a better fragrance than the other. They are used to make perfumes. Is to leave Saint Remeze towards Vallon Pont d'Arc. You can only arrive by car or by bike. It is an old traditional house around which there are fields of lavender. It is beautiful in spring before harvest because the fields become completely blue.
