Muntanyeta Dels Sants
This is a limestone promontory 27 meters high, located in the Natural Park of La Albufera, surrounded by rice fields. It was exploited as a quarry after the Civil War, to provide stone roads and embankments on the river Júcar. Before, it was more visible from a distance due to the water tank that stood on the paddy fields, but they tore it down a few years ago. Today it is a protected microreserve with lush vegetation that hides the traces of its past.
