Cuando vamos a Rota normalmente...
Cuando vamos a Rota normalmente entramos por el acceso sur para echar un rato en el parquecito que hay junto al Recinto Ferial. Y, casi siempre, terminamos utilizando la cafetería del Polideportivo, que tiene barra directamente a la calle.
La última vez que fuimos estaba cerrada. Entramos en el complejo pasando junto al control del bedel que nos miró y no nos preguntó nada. En Rota el personal municipal es muy discreto y no va molestando como en otros municipios. Le puedes hacer fotografías a las instalaciones municipales y nadie te exige que vayas a sacar un permiso por escrito a la Delegación de Deportes.
Nada más entrar ya ves las distintas instalaciones. Te mueves libremente por allí, aunque no puedes acceder al campo de fútbol lo que evita problemas. Un detalle que no me gusta es que el acceso al Pabellón se puede hacer desde la misma pista. Existe un cartel que pide que se entre por el otro lado, pero pilla más cerca y todo el mundo entra y sale por allí. El Pabellón es alto, pero tiene unas gradas ridículas, como es la moda en las dos últimas décadas. Realmente graderíos no existen, son instalaciones para practicar deporte más que para realizar competiciones con público. Es un detalle a mejorar porque priva de la realización de grandes eventos deportivos.
El lugar está muy limpio y reúne un campo de fútbol, tres pistas de cemento de tenis, un gimnasio, una sala de ping-pong, dos canchas exteriores de baloncesto, una pista exterior de fútbol-sala y un pabellón cubierto. Eso sí todas las instalaciones disponen de alumbrado y el estado general de las mismas es bueno.

There is a sign asking you to enter the other side, but catches closer and everyone comes and goes out there. The Pavilion is high, but has some steps ridiculous, as is the fashion in the last two decades. Bleachers really do not exist, are facilities for sport rather than for public competitions. This is a detail to improve because it deprives the completion of major sporting events. The place is very clean and meets a football field, three tennis courts cement, a gym, table tennis room, two outdoor basketball courts, a tennis indoor football outside and a covered pavilion. Mind you all the facilities have lighting and the general state of the same is good.
