A very popular market
This market seems to be the "little brother" of the famous shipyards Market in Malaga, but has the same charm and exterior and interior, well worth a visit. The Salamanca Market or Windmill Market as it is popularly known (that's the name of the neighborhood where it is) was built between 1922 and 1925 and designed by architect Daniel Rubio Sánchez. The neo-Arab style consists of a single nave and the facades are identical on both sides, with a metal roof, and interior is decorated with tiles depicting poultry, fish and fruit.
