The doors of the Gorges du Verdon, with Notre-Dame church
If you try to enter the Gorges du Verdon in the west, from the A51 motorway connecting Marseille with Grenoble, more than likely you will see this little village. The other option is to go by Ste-Croix-du-Verdon. But if you come here the reward is seen after crossing the bridge over the River Verdon, just where it empties into the lake. In this town it is mandatory visit to the church of Notre-Dame. A little further north on foot is a Roman bridge with waterfall. If you like walking, a chapel is throughout the area on top of a hill, we gave up because I was going up with elderly people.
