Keen to Return

This is a beautiful place for a family vacation, since it has three inhabitants that delight will delight your children: a very lovable dog, a cat that uses every chance it can get to get into the kitchen, and a goat that mows the lawn! It leaves its trail wherever it goes. Be careful to not step in his tracks! The environment is a joy, set in a forest, with cold temperatures. And it's just a few steps from Dinan, which is a beautiful city. The 5 person room is very large and comfortable for a family with children. The only downfall is the fact that there's no toilet or shower in the room. With a little luck, you can find a musician playing the guitar, piano, or singing in the dining room.

I loved it, and so did the kids, who are keen to return.

A 2 kilometers from Dinan, if you enter in the Vallée de la Fontaine des Eaux, between frondosísimos trees you will find a beautiful stone house. It was the miller"s house and today has become the youth hostel (although it is for all ages!) Moulin de Méen. It is crossed by a stream and was built following the same line as the Breton houses of the time, ie, with granite stone, wooden beams, white windows and slate roof. Knock, knock, knock on the door and after a first glance you will have no doubt spend at least one night. If you"re in a cold season you will not notice the outside temperature because it is perfectly conditioned and also has a fireplace in front of which I have been one hour spellbound with its flames. Speaking of spells, a few kilometers from this place, in a forest called Brocéliande, is the tomb of the famous magician Merlin. For 13 € you can book double rooms and some with eight beds and have free internet access, although I recommend disconnecting from the outside world and get the most from frondosísimos trees in the Vallée de la Fontaine des Eaux.
