It's awesome
All Tunisian cities have several mosques, and Kairouan is no exception. It is located outside the walls of the medina , very close to the entrance and the Place des Martyrs . Outwardly, it's nothing special since the facade is completely white and smooth, but it also has a high minaret. What struck me was hearing the call to prayer, which I was lucky enough to record. According to Islam, Muslims must pray five times a day, at certain hours, depending on the position of the sun.
