Moschea di Agirocastro

Si è già parlato molto di Gjirokaster, questo centro attrae ogni anno moltissimi turisti da tutto il mondo incuriositi e appassionati. Da visitare offre sicuramente il castello, il museo, i suoi vicoli con i bar e i ristoranti di cucina tipica. Ma di particolare fascino e rilievo, per me è la moschea di Agirocastro, ovvero Xhamia e Gjirokastres, anche chiamata moschea Bazaar, proprio perché si trova nel quartiere vecchio della città che porta lo stesso suo nome. E’ stata costruita nel 1757, è quindi ottomana e dal 1973 è divenuta monumento culturale. Fu proprio questo il motivo per cui non venne distrutta nel periodo del regime comunista.

You already talked a lot about Gjirokaster, this center attracts many tourists every year from all over the world curious and passionate. To visit definitely delivers the castle, the museum, its narrow streets with bars and restaurants serving local cuisine. But particularly fascinating and important, for me the mosque Agirocastro or Xhamia and Gjirokastres, also called mosque Bazaar, just because it is in the old quarter of the city that bears the same name. It was built in 1757, then Ottoman and from 1973 became a cultural monument. It was precisely the reason why it was destroyed during the communist regime.
