Moose Pass
Moose Pass is a tiny village that is situated on the Kenai Peninsula, on the road to Seward. It was established in 1909, and since then has grown a lot. There was a gold mine there, but today there is only gold in the rivers, and this is found through a lot of hard work. There are a couple of shops, churches and several hotels, but these are only open in the summer. Every June there is a very large celebration in Moose Pass, celebrating the solstice where many people get together to ride horses and to listen to music.
