Monuments Ponte You da Lima

The rural charm of Ponte de Lima is in the center of the green wine region, amongst other things, besides its beautiful landscaped gardens, for its historical culture: Monuments, sculptures that says on one of his signs is considered the oldest towns in Portugal. Among other things Limia, apart from the great river, which crosses an old bridge whose shores invite you to stroll, there are a number of churches and monuments that can be worth noting: - The monument to Cardinal Saraiva (1766-1845) - The Statue of Queen Maria Theresa and her son Afonso king and the Paço the Marquis- Mother Church and several churches as the churches of Mercy and other chapels.

- Toro, recently opened in May 2008. I recommend visiting the Botanical Gardens which is a lovely Theme Park and is located across the Roman bridge.
