Monumento al Sagrado Corazón

Frente a la Iglesia de San Trudo se emplaza el Monumento al Sagrado Corazón, realizado en 1929 por el escultor holandés Alois de Beule. Es una réplica del monumento homónimo situado en la ciudad de Den Bosch. La escultura tiene una composición triangular, en la que la figura de Cristo ocupa el lugar central, y está flanqueada por una mujer con un niño a un lado, y un hombre arrodillado al otro. Este monumento fue un regalo de los feligreses al sacerdote Werners con motivo de sus “bodas de plata” (25 años) como párroco en esta iglesia.

In front of the Church of San Trudo is the Monument to the Sacred Heart, made in 1929 by the Dutch sculptor Alois de Beule. It is a replica of the homonymous monument located in the city of Den Bosch. The sculpture has a triangular composition, in which the figure of Christ occupies the central place, and is flanked by a woman with a child on one side, and a man kneeling on the other. This monument was a gift of the parishioners to the priest Werners on the occasion of his "silver jubilee" (25 years) as a parish priest in this church.
