Ignacy Jan Paderewski Monument
Ujazdowski Park is a beautiful place to stroll (if it is not raining, of course, because there is no shelter!) There are various sculptures of historical figures, including Ignacy Jan Paderewski, who was a celebrated pianist, composer and Polish politician. The monument was about to be taken by order of the Nazis, but it was saved as it was buried underground. It was placed in its current location in 1985.
