A beautiful sculpture
Last summer, I had to go to Lloret several times, so I got to know the town quite well. This is a really great spot, where you can see the statue of the Venus of Lloret, a beautiful sculpture visible from the beach. To reach it, the tourist office suggests that you take a walk along the coast of Lloret, through Santa Cristina, to reach Blanes. From the beach, a few stairs built into the rock are a fun way to approach the statue.
You'll see first the shadow, then the figure, and finally you'll reach a beautiful woman in bronze, all sharp curves, staring at the sea. Around her is a small square with benches, so you can admire the work from several points of view, as well as having a great vantage point over the sea and the beach of Lloret, from the castle tower of San Juan to the rocks of the Cala Bany.
