Monument to the Fiestero

The Verdiales is a song-dance typical of the province of Malaga, especially in the area of ​​Montes and the Axarquia. Each "Verdiales panda" brings musicians who usually play the tambourine, violin, castanets, cymbals, guitars .. And the panda´s musician is called "fiestero". The Comares Verdiales are reputed to be among the best in the province, and its style is distinguished as it is faster to sing. For all these reasons there is a monument in honour of the "fiestero", which is part of the local´s culture and another feature of the town.
