Memorial
This is another memorial found in the Garden of Victoria Square . This bust represents Éboué Adolphe Felix, the first black governor of the colony (named in 1935), who worked to improve the lives of disadvantaged people, replacing the suburbs with working-class neighbourhoods. The city of Pointe-a-Pitre also has a street dedicated to his name. He was also the governor of Chad at the outbreak of WWII.
