The city maintains its name Queensland years, says that in 1770 Captain Cook, a British explorer, was establecioó in Australia. This event is represented by a pyramid of stones (a Cairn) and explained with a plaque bearing the name of the famous teacher. The city itself has little interest, there is a restaurant and bar near the beach, but the scenery is very beautiful as it is full of cliffs and is sparsely populated, although she herds of tourists arrive and especially surfers!

City 1770 like its name from the alleged year that Captain Cook, great British explorer, will have first set foot in Australia. This event is here represented by a pyramid sculpture made of pebbles (a cairns) and explained by a plaque bearing the name of the famous captain. The city itself has little interest, it is a restaurant and a bar near the beach, but the scenery is beautiful as these pages and cliffs are only sparsely populated although tourists flock, and especially surfers!
