Montsoreau

The pretty village of montsoreau is located just below Candes-Saint-Martin. In my view, the most beautiful way to visit the town is to walk along the shore of the Loire while admiring the scenery. You will see its beautiful castle and, arriving near the end of the town, find the pier where you can take the tourist boat La Belle L'Amarante Adèle, to see the town from the river Loire. We happened upon this quaint little town entirely by chance, but were extremely happy that we had done so as it is wonderful.
