Montsoeau Castle

Montsoreau Castle is the largest tourist attraction in montsoreau village. The castle stands at the confluence of the rivers Loire and Vienne. We only visited the outside, because this was not on our list of essential castles to visit and to visit the inside of all of them in the Loire Valley in one trip would be too difficult. We got to see plenty of the castle by walking around it and from the tourist boat L'Amarante. Opening hours vary depending on the time of year you visit. Admission for adults costs € 8,50.
