Monte Igueldo Hotel

This hotel is located on top of Mount Igueldo, as its name suggests. It's an institution, and like everything else in this beautiful city, it is an old landmark that has adapted to the times. Today it might be one of the best places to stay in San Sebastian - not for nothing, it is the hotel of choice for Real Madrid when they play here. You can see the hotel from all over the city, and if you're lucky enough to have a room with a view, you'll have amazing sights to behold both day and night. The room we had had a terrace overlooking the bay. Large, clean, and heated, it was comfortable and eco-friendly (they offer the option of hanging your towel, to keep it for the next day).
