One of the Wonders of the World
In my journey to the center of Portugal, and without intending to, I saw one of the possible 7 wonders of the world (the application was filed this year, as the International Year of Biodiversity). The name "Livraria do Mondego" is due to bottlenecks in the Mondego river passing through the town of Penacova, and especially the peculiar rock formations arranged vertically and that incline like books on a shelf.
