Monastery Andechs
The Andechs Monastery is on the eastern shore of Lake Ammersee, in the Municipality of Landkreiss of Stamberg, in Upper Bavaria, Germany. This Benedictine Monastery has been goal of many pilgrims for many years and is famous for its beautiful Rococo style church from 1712. Here lie the mortal remains of the composer Carl Orff (1895-1982), author of Carmina Burana. The church has a very large famous organ. The MONASTERY has a famous BREWERY, RESTAURANT.
