Druk Thupten Sangag Choling Monastery

The Druk Thupten Sangag Choling Monastery in Darjeeling is located outside the city, but you can get in the jeep on the way to the famous Tiger Hill. This is a great monastery in which they live hundreds of monks of all ages who follow the doctrine of Tibetan Mahayana Buddhism. The architecture reminds one part of the Potala Palace in Lhasa. The monastery is particularly active during the day, you may find yourself watching singing and meditation, but in the morning there are also many visitors.
