Going back to the 19th century
I randomly discovered this museum last weekend. It’s been about a year since it opened up on one of the more representative streets of Barcelona, right next to Plaza Cataluña.
The museum is made up of three well-defined floors where you’ll enjoy seeing day-to-day objects like chairs, umbrella stands, mirrors, etc., designed and sculpted by the famous modernist artists. It’s located in one of the most renowned modernist houses, designed by Enric Sagnier. The first floor has a delightful oil painting that gives a closer look into this deeply rooted Catalan style.
I found it very interesting.
