Best views of the Roman Forum
I had read that the view of the Roman Forum from the Capitoline Museums was amazing, but then I discovered this amazing sight first hand at sunset when there weren't many people. After heading down to the Galleria Lapidaria, you arrive at the Tabularium, the foundations of this immense building which offer exceptional views of the Forum. The building houses the Roman archive which conserves all the acts and laws of the city. It was first used in 78BC.
Trajan's column and the Colosseum in the background make this the best view in the city.
