Mirador de Doi Pui

El sitio más bonito de Doi Pui, ese que hace que merezca la pena parar en este pueblín, es su mirador más alto. Lo encontrarás al final del camino que atraviesa el mercado y podrás hacerlo caminando sin dificultad, con un esfuerzo mínimo. La subida tiene poca pendiente y es muy agradable. Al final de este paseo, que no debiera durar sin parar más de 15 minutos (aunque mejor si te paras y disfrutas del mercado, del museo etnográfico de la tribu Hmong, del hombre que te invita a disparar con una ballesta, de los oportunistas que intentan venderte diamantes, etc.), hallarás un pequeño bar y, justo debajo, un mirador en forma de terraza desde el que se tiene un bonito panorama de las casitas de Doi Pui y las montañas de alrededor. Aunque no es necesario consumir en el bar para disfrutar de la vista (el mirador está fuera de lo que es propiamente el bar–terraza), quizá sea buena idea hacerlo (no es que haya seiscientos bares por esta zona y este, sin duda alguna, es de los mejores). Té, café, refrescos... ¡Hasta cerveza han subido aquí arriba! Eso sí, recuerda que no es buena idea tomar una Chang, una Leo o una Shinga si tienes que conducir una moto de vuelta.
