Beautiful minaret
One of my favorite things about Tangier are the minarets of the mosques, especially the colorful geometry of the Sidi Bou Abib Mosque minarets. Minarets are where the muezzins used to perform the call to prayer five times a day (these days they use loudspeakers), and their design varies depending on the region. The minarets in Tangier, as you can see, tend to be tall, narrow, and squared.
