Minaret Mudejar Corrumbela
After visiting the Axarquia, we went to Corumbela, where the Church of St. Peter, formerly an Mosque, is a faithfully preserved piece of Moorish architecture. To reach the church, you go through very white and narrow streets, which retain an Andalusian flavour and the peace and tranquility, mixed with the smell of wood smoke from chimneys, is amazing. The minaret was built in the fourteenth century in the style of the Minarets of Archez. Both the exterior and interior are perfectly preserved.
