Nice route

It is a very nice river route that crosses Oxford. The Castle Mill Stream is like a channel, but I think they are natural waters, while the channel is manmade. The city, which is very small, made many efforts to get the car out of the old town. Along the river, everything is pedestrian, with a bike lane. It is very nice to walk around here, but you can also rent boats typical of Oxford. The sport is called punting, and is seen in several pictures representing the University of Oxford. The boats are small, wooden. They are not directed via a paddle, but with a stick that touches the bottom of the water.

At the beginning it is a bit tricky but you learn quickly. Rent boats at Magdalen Bridge or Folly Bridge. Around 15 pounds per hour, an hour is enough, but with a group you can go further.

But with a group you can push a little further.
